Who I Am
Hello, my name is Katie Dudzic, and I am currently a senior studying graphic design. I have always had a passion for creating and expressing myself through various artistic and visual means. I didn’t start as a Graphic Design major, I actually started as an architecture major. While that did not work out, it will always hold a special place in my heart and has influenced some of my work, and is the reason I am interested in environmental design. I have a wide variety of interests when it comes to graphic design, including branding, packaging, visual design in environmental design, and web design. As you will soon see, I have yet to establish a style, and I am not sure I will, but I am okay with that. I think my lack of style is my style, even from my interior space to the way I dress, all contradict each other, much like my art. I think it shows my flexibility as an artist and designer. When I receive a prompt, I use the prompt and guidelines to design the work, I let the project communicate to me what it wants to be, and I try to execute that vision. I think this is my strength as a designer.

Senior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Studying Design and Visual Communication. Will be Graduating in December 2025

Apart from academic work, I will soon be working with a friend to design a book cover for the book she is publishing

The Design Work I Do
Environmental Design
Environmental design is an interdisciplinary field that includes architecture and interior design to create a desired space that is both functional and visually appealing.
Branding
Branding consists of creating an identity for a brand/company using visual elements supported by brand goals, values, and mission.
Package Design
Package design branches off of branding and uses the assets created in branding, like logos, color palette, and any other visual media, to create a visually appealing package for a product or products that a brand is selling.
Web Design
Web Design, particularly WordPress, is a way to build visually appealing but also functional websites for any need, whether that is a site for a brand, small business, restaurant, or simply informational.
